Mehndi became fashion in western countries in late 1990s and people call it Henna Tattoos. Henna or Mahndi is mostly applied in special occasions like Eid, weddings, Diwali, Teej and Bhaidooj. Girls also apply Mehndi in engagement and other family and friend functions.
